Patricia Bullrich
and
Facundo Manes
avoided meeting at Expoagro, despite the fact that both were present at the same time - and had the opportunity to share events but chose
not to
- this Thursday at noon in the largest agro-industrial exhibition in the region, in San Nicolás.
The radical deputy Manes arrived at Expoagro at 11 in the morning, an hour before the president of the PRO.
When many speculated on a new photo of the two presidential candidates of Together for Change (JxC), both organized their activities separately,
without even sharing a chat, a lunch or a photo
;
unlike what the other two pre-candidates for the presidency of JxC,
Horacio Rodríguez Larreta
and
Gerardo Morales
, did the day before, who took a photo and organized to meet to talk.
In fact, Manes and Bullrich had met last weekend at the Harvest Festival, where they shared a chat alone and a photo with other radical leaders, such as
Carolina Losada
,
Gustavo Valdés, Rodolfo Suárez, Luis Naidenoff and Alfredo Cornejo, in addition to Emilio Monzó,
among others.
But this time, at Expoagro, they decided that it was not time to repeat that meeting.
Each chose to go their own way.

When Bullrich was asked at Expoagro about that photo with the radicals, if there could be crossed formulas with a radical vice president, she replied: "We are not talking about crossed formulas. We are talking about
something much deeper. The government has to be a coalition government
, in which from the first to the last they have the courage to change. And that is what I want to have in my team".
Delegation
Patricia Bullrich was accompanied at Expoagro by the mayors of Captain Sarmiento
Javier Iguacel
and San Nicolás
Manuel Passaglia
, the director of the National Communications Entity
Silvana Giudici
, the deputy
Pablo Torello
, the senator from Buenos Aires
Joaquín de la Torre
, the former Minister of Agriculture
Luis Miguel Etchevehere
, the former Secretary of Agriculture
Willy Bernaudo
, the former Chief of Cabinet of Agribusiness
Jorge Srodek
and the former Deputy
Eduardo Amadeo
.
" An orderly macroeconomy
is needed
, so that Argentina has a much greater potential than it has, with a single exchange rate and removing the anti-export bias from the taxes that we all know are withholdings," said Bullrich.
And he added: "We are going to take immediate measures, so that the countryside is not the one that pays for the party of an increasingly large State, which steals more money from producers."
At the time of sitting down to talk with the Expoagro authorities and at the press conference, Bullrich seated the mayors Iguacel and Passaglia next to him, highlighting the profile of a candidate for the governorship of Iguacel in Buenos Aires, former head of National Highway Administration and
denouncer
of Cristina Kirchner;
and hoping that Passaglia will accompany her in some post at the "national level,
because we don't want lukewarm in government,"
Bullrich said.
The presence of the president of the PRO at Expoagro had a strong impact,
with dozens of people coming to greet her, take photos, and encourage her "not to loosen up," while the leaders sought to find out details of her government plan.
In an informal conversation, at the Bayer stand, where Bullrich had a meeting with his directors, Eduardo Amadeo reminded Clarín
when
he was Antonio Cafiero's campaign manager, in the '88 internship that they lost to Carlos Menem, and assured that
Bullrich has a magnetism with people that Cafiero lacked.
Near that stand was
the Peronist governor of La Pampa, Sergio Ziliotto
, whom Bullrich could not meet either.
But the pampean had a phrase that sought to bring positions closer to the opposition: "There we do not agree on the methods, but we must find four or five meeting points, establish State policies that transcend governments. Think about sustainable development, with inclusion and equal opportunities. The way is to dialogue, shout less and listen more", said Ziliotto.

Manes's visit to Expoagro, a little earlier, was calm and limited, despite the fact that
the radical deputy ratified that he is still working on his presidential candidacy.
The radical deputy was accompanied by his brother
Gastón Manes
, president of the National Convention of the UCR;
and the Buenos Aires provincial deputies
Viviana Dirolli, Claudio Rossi, Emiliano Balbín, Vanesa Zuccari and Julio Pasqualin.
In dialogue with
Clarín
, Manes ratified his presidential candidacy, although he stressed that "this is not the time to talk about candidacies, because people are on another channel.
One of the problems of politics is that it is completely disconnected from society
. It is unworthy and amoral that large sums of money are spent that is not known where they come from in electoral campaigns, in a country with 40% poverty," said deputy Manes.
"Kirchnerism never understood the countryside.
The worst harvest in years is expected due to a historic drought, accompanied by extraordinary losses. And the government has not been able to implement a solid relief policy for the countryside. The countryside is the engine of the development, but at this time it is clear that we cannot ask the countryside for everything, but it is essential that we work to diversify the economy of our country," Manes said.
