The anguish of a deputy for drug violence in Rosario before the gaze of Aníbal Fernández: "We are having a very bad time"

It is about Germana Figueroa Casas from Santa Fe who almost begging asked the minister to do something. "Don't think the narcos won because I really don't think they won," she said.

Aníbal Fernández appeared this Thursday at the Security Commission of Deputies to defend himself against criticism of the Government's policy in the face of the wave of drug violence that is shaking Rosario and a deputy did not have to appeal to any Chicana to describe the reality that is lived in the city of Santa Fe.

When almost three hours had elapsed since the presentation by the Minister of Security, the deputy Germana Figueroa Casas (PRO - Santa Fe) started her question almost on the verge of tears.

"As a deputy I only have this access and I have to ask you:

Is it true that Santa Fe is abandoned?

" said the legislator with tears in her eyes.

"The truth is that the feeling in Rosario is that. Having murder numbers above anyone else makes you feel that

someone forgot

," she transmitted.

In her presentation, the deputy pointed out: "The reality is that children die, half of those who died last year were under 19 years of age, according to the numbers from the provincial ministry and behind all that there are families."

While Aníbal Fernández closely followed the testimony, the deputy added: "I know that you are not the only one, if we talk about the penitentiary they do not depend on you, justice does not depend on you."

It was in that section of her message that she asked the minister

"do not think that the drug traffickers won, I really believe that they did not win and in Rosario they do not win

. "

"We need that support. I have children, I have friends.

We are not having a good time in Rosario, we are having a very bad time

," remarked the deputy for Santa Fe.

Always holding back tears, the deputy pointed out that "when it is said that the numbers of the city of Buenos Aires are better than those of Santa Fe... Likewise, a dead person is terrible."

"In Santa Fe we need you to support us," remarked the deputy.

"We need to know what the plan is to lower the crime rate in Santa Fe, understand if declaring a Security Emergency is an alternative that adds resources and know exactly how the security budget is being executed in the province," he said.

"I want to go home and tell my children that we took another step in the fight for our safety," said the deputy almost begging, to end: "I ask you, please, what can you tell us, to give us a little

hope

".

Faced with this testimony, Aníbal Fernández replied to the legislator that "there is no doubt" that he will maintain the security forces in the province, which, according to what he indicated, exceed 5,000 troops.

He also clarified why he said that "the drug traffickers won."

What I said, I said with all the bad milk in the world because otherwise nobody pays attention

.

The governors did not allow us to enter," the minister concluded.

Aníbal Fernández went to the Chamber of Deputies to answer about the measures adopted against the advance of drug trafficking in Rosario, which led President Alberto Fernández to reinforce the presence of federal forces in that province.
