At the end of the meeting, the business leaders issued an official statement, warning that as a result of the revolution, "every household in Israel will suffer financially; investments in the country by local and foreign investors will cease, the devaluation of the shekel will worsen, the credit rating of the State of Israel will drop, and as a result, interest rates in the country will continue to rise at a high rate so that every Mortgage payments will continue to rise and become more expensive, while fearing severe damage to public savings and pension funds."
