in some of their public spaces, mainly squares.
As part of an
Action Plan against Climate Change Morón 2030
, a program that promotes the use of alternative and clean energies, the commune confirmed that
they will install solar water dispensers and cell phone chargers
at different points in the Party.
And they will also do the same with
solar water heaters
for social entities.
Corresponding to the implementation of the
provincial program for Adaptation and Mitigation to Climate Change
, which aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, the Municipality anticipated that it will launch the project called
'Energy Supply Based on Clean Energies'
.
The dispenser will have two options to fill the thermos: hot or natural water.
The initiative aims to install
solar stations
that will have
hot and natural water dispensers
, which will be activated by pressing two buttons -one for each temperature mode- and
connectors with USB ports
for charging the batteries. of cell phones.
The stations in question
will work with sunlight
and, as explained by the Commune, "
will have considerable energy savings
compared to the cost of electrical energy generally required."
They will be placed in different recreational and public spaces of the Party.
In one of the columns of the solar station there will be USB ports to charge cell phones.
The project also involves the
installation of 30 solar water heaters
in
children's homes, shelters, picnic areas and community centers
.
"The action proposes the
integration of devices that have solar energy as a source
and constitutes a key public policy by weighing the most vulnerable populations in the face of extreme weather events," municipal sources indicated.
The budget for the program is
more than 11 million pesos
and is added to other actions carried out in Morón to reduce environmental impact.
