The terrible sights on Dizengoff Street in Tel Aviv returned this evening (Thursday) again to haunt the residents and those celebrating on Thursday evening which is considered the evening when many citizens go out to spend time.
A terrorist armed with a gun arrived at Dizengoff 171 and started shooting everywhere until he was neutralized.
Three people were injured, one of them critically.
But for the street full of entertainment places, this is not an unusual sight.
This is the third attack in the last seven years that happened on the boulevard when a little more than a kilometer separates two previous bloody attacks in the same area.

On January 1, 2016, Nashat Melhem, an Arab-Israeli from Wadi Ara, arrived at Dizengoff Street and carried out the deadly attack at the Simta Bar at 122 Dizengoff Street. Melhem, armed with a submachine gun, shot and killed Alon Bekel, who was the manager of the pub, and Shimon Ruaimi.
After that, the terrorist ran away and killed the taxi driver who drove him, Amin Shaaban from Lod, and left his body near Tel Baruch beach.
Seven other people were injured in the attack.
Melhem managed to escape and hide for a week until he was shot dead by the security forces while hiding in an abandoned building in the settlement of Arara in Wadi Ara.

6 years later, in April 2022, the attack occurred at the Ilka bar located at 148 Dizengoff Street. The attack occurred in the midst of a terrorist wave, which included, among others, the deadly attacks in Beer Sheva, Hadera and Bnei Brak.
Armed with a gun, the terrorist Raad Fathi Hazam opened fire and killed his childhood friends Magini and Tomer Mord.
Seven other people were injured in the deadly attack, including Barak Lufen who died of his wounds a day later.
After a manhunt that lasted for hours, the terrorist was located in Jaffa near the Clock Square - and killed.
