The investigators of the crime of
María Cristina De Vincentiis (90)
, the retiree murdered with a stab wound to the neck in San Isidro, and for which her son was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of matricide, analyze a
possible economic motive
based on the money found at the defendant's house and a particular message that the defendant left on the web to the Italian consulate for the pension that his mother received from that country.
"I have problems with my mother's pension
," says the first of the two messages that the now detained
Aldo Antonio Di Paolo (65)
posted on February 6 -just a month before the crime-, on the
embassy website.

and addressed to the Consulate General of Italy in Buenos Aires.
Fourteen minutes after that first message, he repeated the query with more precision: "I have problems with my mother's pension, María Cristina De Vincentiis, it is difficult to get an appointment to carry out the procedures" and left his email address for contact.
The two messages are already being analyzed by the San Isidro prosecutor Carolina Asprella, according to judicial sources told the
Télam
agency .
Aldo Di Paolo is the only one arrested for his mother's crime.
"For other elements we know that
the victim received a pension from Italy
, but the necessary measures are being taken to officially confirm it with the consulate, to find out what type of pension he received, since when, what amount he received and if his son was related in any way. way to that benefit," said one of the researchers.
This track of the pension and the
3,000 dollars and 900,000 pesos found
this morning in the search at the house of the arrested Di Paolo, make the investigators suspect an economic motive behind the crime.
The pensioner's son testified and said he is "innocent"
Di Paolo was investigated this afternoon by the Asprella prosecutor and, assisted by an official defense attorney, pleaded "not guilty."
In any case, he was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a "homicide double aggravated by the bond and by treachery", a crime that provides for life imprisonment as the only penalty.

One of the elements that complicated Di Paolo is that between Saturday and last Monday the only person who entered the house was his son, according to what the DDI San Isidro investigators were able to establish.
The man lives around the corner, on the same block as his mother.
It was even determined on Monday afternoon, when Di Paolo left his mother's house, he did so with a nylon bag similar to the one that was kidnapped last night in the raid and that contained money.
"There is
a camera on the block that recorded everything
. The son is seen entering on Monday around 6:00 p.m., he stays for about half an hour and comes out, in leather, and with the bag heading home," said a legal source linked to to the file.
The alleged matricide, who according to police sources is dedicated to installing fire-fighting pipe networks and fire extinguishers, had said that Sunday had been the last day he visited her.

In turn, the estimated death date revealed that the retiree was murdered between 48 and 72 hours before the autopsy carried out on Wednesday, which places the murder as committed between Monday - when Di Paolo was filmed - and Tuesday.
The sources indicated that this key camera -which belongs to an adhesive and sealant factory located across the street from the crime scene-, also "records in an interrupted manner" and it was found that since Monday the only person who returned to Entering the old woman's house was her son, last Wednesday, when he called 911 to report that he had found his mother murdered.
Also, before the arrival of the police, he passed by the house of some neighbors and told them:
"My mother is dead."
A camera was the key to uncovering the contradictions in Di Paolo's testimony.

In the raid, in addition to the money, the Police seized two tablets, a notebook, two cell phones, and a cushion with stains that could be blood.
It was before these clues that the prosecutor decided to arrest the son.
The crime of the 90-year-old woman in San Isidro
Di Paolo himself was the one who on Wednesday, around 8:30 p.m., called the Police to report that he had found his mother murdered in her house, at Avellaneda 1314, between San José and Herrera, San Isidro district.
At that time, the man explained that he had gone to the house because his mother, who lived alone and used a wheelchair, did not answer his calls.
Aldo Di Paolo was arrested this morning as the only suspect in his mother's crime.
When the Police arrived at the scene, they verified that the woman, an Italian immigrant, was dead, lying in the kitchen of the house, with a knife stuck in her neck.
The autopsy established that De Vincentiis died from a neck wound that caused hemorrhage and hypovolemic shock.
The murder weapon,
a kitchen knife with a wooden handle
, originally belonged to the house itself, investigators said.
Di Paolo also told the police that his mother's house was in a bit of a mess and that the murderer(s)
had stolen a series of jewelry and the victim's cell phone
.
The first line of investigation was that of a homicide during a robbery committed by someone who had managed to enter the house.
It is that despite not detecting forced doors or windows, some neighbors declared that
the woman used to leave the door open
when she went out with her wheelchair to get air.
Aldo Di Paolo, the son of the retiree murdered in San Isidro, was arrested: "He was the only one who entered the house"
However, the prosecutor Asprella also investigated the son's version in parallel and after a series of investigative tasks and contradictions detected with the security cameras, ordered his arrest between Thursday night and early Friday morning.
"Basically, the work that the DDI did with the cameras and other data that
contradicted the son's testimony
ended up turning him into the main suspect. And although there are still experts, the raid on his home strengthens our suspicions," a judicial source told
Telam
.
In turn, although there was disorder in the house, for the investigators
it gave the impression that the scene
of a robbery was staged.
The sources acknowledged that an economic motive is being investigated not only for the money found at the defendant's home, but also because his mother, an Italian national, apparently received a pension from that European country.
The antecedent of the double parricide of Vicente López
For whom he ended up arrested, for its resolution based on security cameras -although this time in 24 hours-, and for having occurred in the northern area of the suburbs, the case reminded us of one of the most resonant crimes of last year: the double parricide of the Del Rio couple in Vicente López.
José Enrique Del Rio (75) and María Mercedes Alonso (72) were found murdered -he with three bullets and she with one- on August 25 inside their car in the garage of their house at Melo 1101, Vicente López .
Although the employee María Ninfa "Nina" Aquino was the first arrested on suspicion of having been the "deliverer", after 14 days she was released and the case took a turn on September 7 when prosecutors arrested the youngest son of the deceased,
Martín Del Rio (48)
, as the alleged perpetrator of a double parricide.
Based on film, technological and testimonial evidence compiled by the prosecution, Del Rio Jr. was arrested accused of being the "hooded walker" who, one day before the discovery of the bodies, was filmed entering and leaving the crime scene.
