and Peter Lanzani, could become the third national film to win the statuette in the category called Best International Film.
It is the eighth production to reach the candidacy.
The winning films so far were
La historia oficial
, by Luis Puenzo, which was awarded at the ceremony on March 24, 1986, exactly 10 years after the Coup d'état, and
El secreto de sus ojos
, by Juan José Campanella, at the 2010 edition.
