Partnership with platforms, awareness campaign, classification of unconventional care practices: the government announced on Friday March 10 several measures to strengthen its fight against sectarian aberrations, which will result in an interministerial plan specified before the summer.
This is a "
first stone
", with the objective that a "
roadmap be drawn up before the summer as part of an interdepartmental plan
", declared the Secretary of State in charge of Citizenship, Sonia Backes.
She spoke at the end of two days of meetings organized by the Ministry of the Interior and Miviludes, the organization for the fight against sectarian aberrations attached to it.
Moderate social networks
The Minister announced that she wanted to sign, "
before the summer
", a partnership with digital platforms such as TikTok, which "
would make it possible to train moderators
" in sectarian excesses "
and to make Miviludes a trusted partner
", allowing the two partners to report illegal content, in one direction or another.
In order to prosecute the authors of therapeutic practices that may lead or resemble sectarian aberrations, Sonia Backès wishes to see advertising for unconventional care practices (PSNC, Ed) banned on social networks for the most serious illnesses.
