The ZDF has deleted some series from the program.
Because of the Biathlon World Cup and "The Swarm" there is no new episode of the "Rosenheim Cops" and the "Mountain Rescuers".
Mainz – It's annoying when you're looking forward to a certain TV show all week and then it suddenly and seemingly unexplainedly disappears from the program.
Unfortunately, there will be some changes again on Thursday (March 9) on ZDF, which this time will mainly affect the popular series "Die Rosenheim-Cops" and "Die Bergretter".
Biathlon World Cup instead of Rosenheim cops: ZDF is canceling a number of formats on Thursday
After 22 seasons and more than 500 episodes, the "Rosenheim Cops" are now an integral part of the ZDF evening program and always attract many viewers to the boob tube.
“Die Bergretter” – which has provided strong ratings since the finale of “Der Bergdoktor” – is currently part of the compulsory program on Thursday evenings.
However, the audience has to do without both successful series and a handful of other formats this week.
As can be seen from the ZDF program preview, the main reason for the cancellations seems to be the Biathlon World Cup.
From 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., the broadcaster based in Mainz showed the women's 15-kilometer individual event and from 4:10 p.m. to 6:05 p.m. the men's 20-kilometer individual event.
A welcome change for winter sports fans, but quite a disappointment for everyone who had been looking forward to new adventures from the Rosenheim cops and co.

"Die Bergretter" have to be on ZDF for a week
The fact that the "mountain rescuers" have to sit out a week right after the start of the new season is probably not due to a major sporting event.
Because from 8:15 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. – the actual broadcast slot of the popular homeland series – the last two episodes of “Der Schwarm”, the most expensive German TV series of all time, run.
The eight-part film adaptation of Frank Schätzing's (65) sci-fi bestseller has provided outstanding ratings over the past three evenings and is likely to attract an audience of millions again at the big finale.

Actually, new episodes of the "mountain rescuers" and the "Rosenheim-Cops" should have run on ZDF on Thursday evening.
Both formats are canceled this week

For the loyal fans of both series, the program changes will certainly be a bit inconvenient, but ZDF can look forward to strong numbers again, especially because of "Der Schwarm".
“Der Schwarm” has easily overtaken “Bergdoktor” and the “Giovanni Zarrella Show”.
