A 20-year-old motorcyclist was killed this evening (Saturday) in a car accident, after being hit by a vehicle in Herzliya.
MDA medics and paramedics gave him medical treatment after he was pulled out from under the vehicle, but according to them his injury was critical and they had to pronounce him dead on the spot.
MDA medic Maor Baruch said: "When we arrived at the scene we saw the motorcyclist trapped unconscious under the vehicle. Rescue operations of the fire fighters, we performed medical tests, but his injury was critical and in the end we had to determine his death."

Earlier today, an 80-year-old woman was killed in a car accident on road 444, near the Ben Shemen forest.
Three vehicles were involved in the accident.
The woman suffered a multi-system injury, and her death was pronounced at Tel Hashomer Hospital.
In the accident, a 43-year-old woman was moderately injured, and two girls and a girl were slightly injured.
MDA paramedic Uri Gabriel and MDA medic Eitan Adin said: "An 80-year-old woman was sitting in the front seat of one of the vehicles, unconscious and suffering from severe injuries to her body. We immediately began medical treatment, quickly transferred her to an intensive care unit and evacuated her to the hospital. During the evacuation, her condition worsened and we performed CPR on her. A 43-year-old woman who was moderately injured and 2 girls who were with her in another vehicle that was involved in the accident and were slightly injured, were treated on the spot and evacuated by MDA ambulance to Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer. A 17-year-old girl who was injured in her limbs was evacuated Also to a hospital."
The police said that the circumstances of the accident are being investigated.
