Axel Kicillof's warning to the intern: "Peronism cannot be made without Cristina"

2023-03-11T22:53:20.464Z

Plenary K was held in Avellaneda and formally launched the operative outcry to ask the vice president to be a candidate.

With an act riddled with militancy, hardcore Kirchnerism formally began this Saturday the

"operative outcry" to convince Cristina Kirchner

to be a candidate.

Buenos Aires Governor Axel Kicillof, one of the final speakers in the plenary, emphasized that

"Peronism cannot be made without Cristina

. "

Kicillof spoke of the ban on Perón and maintained that "this action generated a reaction": "There were 18 years of struggle and resistance, but also during those 18 years where Perón and the party were prohibited, there were some living who thought they could carry out a Peronism

without Peron

. You couldn't, like today you can't do Peronism without Cristina."

Máximo Kirchner and Kicillof are the main speakers at the event, which is also attended by the Minister of the Interior, Eduardo "Wado" de Pedro, the only Cabinet official who attended the event in Avellaneda.

Thousands of people from Kirchnerist groups, trade unions and social organizations arrived at the National Technological University (UTN) premises at noon, where the 'Fight and Come Back' plenary was held under the banner of the slogan "Cristina Presidenta"

throughout

the working day.

One of the hosts was the Buenos Aires Minister of Development and La Cámpora benchmark, Andrés "Cuervo" Larroque, who opened the plenary session together with the mayor of Ensenada, Mario Secco.

Larroque, the leader close to Cristina Kirchner who questions Alberto Fernández the most, insisted this Saturday that the vice president "is the flag of the people."

The leader who is a member of Cristina's small table together with Máximo Kirchner and Eduardo "Wado" de Pedro assured that "

the people are going to resurface, they are going to break the ban

and they are going to bring happiness back."

This is how Larroque launched the day that formally begins the

operative outcry for the candidacy of Cristina Kirchner

.

At the end of the plenary session, and before the closing speeches, a document was read in which they insisted on asking Cristina Kirchner: "We see in you the only leader who represents the popular majorities who are being attacked today," they said. .

And the text follows: "Before they used the military party and now the judicial party. You have the right to present yourself and we have the right to choose you as our candidate."

The plenary was held in ten tents set up by the organization, where the meetings of the commissions that debated different topics were held.

On the two stages set up at the UTN, inscriptions were read that highlighted the character and confidence that the Kirchner militancy has placed in its host: "Cristina has plenty of leather."

The reference is to the phrase of the dictator Alejandro Lanusse, pronounced in 1972 when Perón was preparing to return to the country after almost 18 years of proscription and exile.

"Perón doesn't come because he can't; I'll let them say because he doesn't want to, but in my heart of hearts I'll say why he doesn't give him the skin to come," the de facto president had said.

"Cristina has plenty of leather," was the response on the posters that, made of leather, were made by workers from the Tanners Union headed by the Minister of Labor of the province of Buenos Aires, Walter Correa.
