Bachmut has become a “kill zone” that poses a major challenge for the Russian Wagner mercenary troops, the British Ministry of Defense wrote on Twitter.

The fighting in the eastern Ukrainian city of Bakhmut had “escalated,” said Deputy Ukrainian Defense Minister Hanna Malyar.
