Five people were found dead this Friday at a home in Miami Lakes, Florida, in an apparent murder-suicide case, police said.
The five adults, two men and three women, were found with gunshots.
The authorities have not yet identified the victims, but family members specified that two of them were mother and son.

The Miami-Dade Police Department specified that the agents went to the house, located at 14800 NW 87 Court, around 10:00 a.m., after receiving a call from a family member who was trying to contact with them.

The officers checked the exterior of the house, after meeting with the relative who made the call, and found an open window, explained Alvaro Zabaleta, a spokesman for the Miami-Dade Police.
Once inside, the agents found a person dead from an apparent gunshot, Zabaleta expanded.
After searching the entire house, they found five people dead, two men and three women, all from apparent gunshots, the spokesperson explained.

Zabaleta stated that detectives are still trying to identify all the victims and the relationship between them.

"You can imagine how extremely tragic it is for the family members who were there to find out that five people were dead," he said.
Family members identified two of the victims: Yoanka Aguilar, a 54-year-old mother, and her son, Dhany Aguilar, 34.
Relatives assured that some of them had recently arrived from Cuba.
The other three deceased were not identified.
The incident remains under investigation.
No further details were available about the event.
