The police strongly criticized Ben Gvir's decision to remove Eshad from his position, and say that this is a political move that has the potential to dismantle the organization.

"What happened yesterday is a mirror image of what is happening in the country, a complete disintegration of order and the proper and normal conduct of a country," said a senior officer of the Lavala! organization.

On Thursday it was announced that Eshad was removed from his position due to his lenient policy towards the protesters against the reform of the government's justice system.

Minister of National Security Ben Gabir and Commissioner Kobi Shabtai decided to appoint Eshad as the head of the Police Training Division. In response to the move, commissioners and former superintendents of the police published a letter in which they called on the Commissioner to resign from his position due to his part in Eshad's removal.
