An injured animator had to be taken to hospital. Her children were placed in foster care.

It's an incredible story.

On Wednesday March 8, facilitators and a caretaker at the Maria-Casarès leisure center in Saint-Denis were attacked by a group of men who accompanied a drunken mother to pick up her children, reports Le

Parisien

.

The injured city worker had to be taken to hospital.

The city of Saint-Denis filed a complaint against the perpetrators of the attack.

It all starts Wednesday at 6:40 p.m.

The summer camp is closing, a 7-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy are waiting for their mother.

Two men then appear at the entrance who explain that they have come to pick up the two toddlers.

The team of animators refuses: they have not registered on the lists and they are probably intoxicated.

The two men leave and then return, this time with the mother, also under the influence of alcohol.

Once again, the facilitators refuse to entrust the children to them and decide to call the police.

The mother then appears escorted by seven men.

The tone rises: insults, throwing a cobblestone in the front door... a facilitator receives a blow to the face and another to the chest.

The police intervene and take the attackers to the police station, says

Le Parisien.

Finally, the children are entrusted to their 21-year-old sister.

The family is housed in a social center in Aubervilliers.

On Friday, they were taken care of by Child Welfare.

Then the juvenile brigade placed them in foster care.
