The 22-year-old resident of the city is accused of setting the vehicle on fire as "revenge" for the school principal's decision not to take his little brother on an annual trip to Eilat. The police asked to arrest him until the end of the proceedings

An indictment was filed today (Sunday) against a 22-year-old resident of Beit Shan for setting fire to the car of a school principal in the city about two weeks ago, after he refused to take his brother out for the annual trip.



At the beginning of the investigation, five people were arrested on suspicion of involvement in the arson, including four students at the school and the 22-year-old, the brother of one of the students, on suspicion of involvement in the arson.

Finally, only the young man was charged.

According to the indictment, the young man realized that his little brother was "hurt" by the school principal's decision not to take him on the annual trip to Eilat - and in revenge set fire to the principal's car.



In addition to the indictment, the police submitted a request for detention until the end of the proceedings in the district court in Nazareth against the accused.
