Iran said today (Sunday) that it and the United States reached an agreement on the release of prisoners.
Washington has not yet approved the move, but according to a report on the Saudi Al-Arabiya channel, Tehran will release three Iranian prisoners with American citizenship, and in return Washington will thaw its funds in Iraq.
The United States denied the claims.

Two Iranian officials told Reuters that two countries in the region were involved in its indirect talks with Washington.
The Iranian announcement comes two days after Iran and Saudi Arabia announced the renewal of relations between them.
Iran's foreign minister said that he hopes that the agreement with the United States will be implemented in the coming days.
