Corporal Meir Suisa was summoned today (Sunday) for questioning with a warning at the police investigation department. This, after he was recorded throwing a stun grenade at protesters against the legal revolution promoted by the government in Tel Aviv. Five other police officers were also summoned. Even before filing a complaint in this regard.

In the documentation of the case, the policeman is seen releasing the fuse of the stun grenade and then throwing it indiscriminately at the crowds gathered at the demonstration at the Azrieli junction in Tel Aviv.

Earlier he was recorded ordering the use of force against any protester who gets in the way.

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gabir backed up the policeman and attacked the MHS: "My policy is to give full backing to the policemen, who, unlike the MHS members, do not sit in an air-conditioned room but are forced to deal with the anarchists."

A senior police official also stated that they "give full support to the officer".
