The new geopolitical balance

So let's accept to see what the war in Ukraine reveals to us, even if it's not pleasant.
First of all, the world is entering a new era which is no longer dominated by the forces of integration of the world economy but by geopolitics and the balance of power.
Far from the end of history, the 21st century will be like the 20th, a century of iron and blood whose stake will be the survival of political freedom.
The partition of the international system into blocs is thus overshadowed by the confrontation between authoritarian empires and democracies.
It is driven by the will of the former to eradicate democracy and supplant the West.
This is evidenced both by the declarations and the actions of Vladimir Putin, whose increasingly absolute power merges with the race to war, from Chechnya to Ukraine...
