Army officials warned the political echelon that the atmosphere for the month of Ramadan, which will begin in about ten days, is very dangerous and explosive, in stark contrast to all the intentions and actions carried out so far by the security system to calm the area.
Just this morning, a 21-year-old resident of Salem was seriously injured in a car explosion near the Megiddo junction in the Jezreel Valley.
Security officials said that the possibility that the explosive device detonation is a nationalist attack is being examined.
"The uncertainty and increasing pressure on Judea and Samaria may drag other calm parts of the region such as Hebron into a situation of escalation," said military officials and even warned that they are "preparing for severe attacks in Judea and Samaria, and to leave the territories to Israel's rear. The situation is very dangerous."
Because of this, requests were made in the security system to decide on the issue of concessions and the Ramadan movement regime of the Palestinians on the Temple Mount, and to allow the younger age group to participate in prayers in Jerusalem in order to prevent the accumulation of frustration and violence.
Sources in the security establishment have hinted that sources in the current government are opposed to concessions at this stage, are postponing the decision and thus increasing security tensions in Judea and Samaria in particular and the entire region in general and this can be seen by the extent of incitement on social media and the level of terrorism.
"A violent period will hurt both sides. Not only the Palestinians," added a military official from the Central Command.

Since the beginning of the year, 78 terrorists have been killed by the fire of the security forces in Judea and Samaria, and in most complex events in northern Samaria, the activity of the security system ends with a large number of casualties.
This is in stark contrast to the IDF's great effort on the ground to reduce friction at this time and only hit with ticking bombs.
Meanwhile in Gaza, the situation is bubbling and despite Hamas's attempts to curb the riots on the border and prevent rocket launches, some sources are calling on Hamas to respond to the large number of casualties in Judea and Samaria.
Security officials claim that the scale of house demolitions in East Jerusalem at this time increased the anger among the residents and the potential for violence and terrorism.
Also, the efforts to bring the countries of the region, including Jordan, together to act as restraining factors and exert pressure on the Palestinians in all the issues surrounding Jerusalem, were not successful.
If that's not enough, the international criticism, with emphasis from the US, in everything related to the burnings of Havara and the statements of Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich are an impetus for the Palestinian Authority and extremist elements in Palestinian society to inflame the atmosphere.

In assessing the security situation after the attack in Tel Aviv, senior security officials said that "Ramadan is already here. The numbers that characterize an escalation and an explosive security period are on the rise. The security system and the political echelon should act in such a way as to calm the spirits. To show that there is a positive preparation for Ramadan and not to inflame the spirits by Dangerous statements".
