This weekend Alberto Fernández's line drop was clear.
Do not waste "a second" to answer La Cámpora
, at least officially.
Let them say and do what they want.
Thus, the president sought to avoid, from the Olivos residence, any type of controversy with Christianity.
It was after the event on Saturday in Avellaneda, organized by La Cámpora as a sort of operative outcry for Cristina to be a presidential candidate this year, Máximo Kirchner alluded to the President without naming him, pointing out that some "are more interested in beating
Cristina than in taking the country forward
”.
“Some should be more than grateful to be in places that any Argentine dreams of.
More humility comrades ”, launched the son of the vice president.
Less subtle would be the Buenos Aires Minister of Social Development, Andrés “Cuervo” Larroque.
“We are going to fight in the background, summoning all political sectors, we need to recreate an area,” he said, when responding to a query about a possible
break
in the Frente de Todos.
Larroque made it clear that he does not consider that the conditions are in place for a re-election of Fernández in Balcarce 50. Ergo, a tacit claim to get
him out of a possible candidacy
.

But Alberto Fernández, according to his collaborators, has responded the same way for a long time.
"A lot is missing.
I do not have the urgency that they have, which is the result of
the lack of candidates
”.
In the Casa Rosada the hypothesis is fed that no camporista candidate - call himself Eduardo "Wado" de Pedro - would be in a position to defeat the President in a few STEP.
The president also has his
doubts
about Larroque's threatening words, opening the umbrella on an eventual break.
Alberto assumes -they say- that a deep fight
is coming
, but that this does not mean a break.
If not rather "some strong STEP" that mobilize the Peronist militancy behind two different views.
An Albertista official considers that Christianity is closing in "increasingly" because he believes that it is impossible to separate Cristina Kirchner from Alberto Fernández, beyond the fact that the vice-president tries to describe the difficult economic situation as if it had nothing to do with the Government.
"If the ship is leaking as they say, they are on top"
, graphs the same source.
In the presidential environment they insist that the first challenge is to unite the Frente de Todos as a competitive tool of Peronism.
"If not, we give away the election to macrismo," they argue.
The other reasoning seems to be more complex: "If we want to win, it is with all the diversities inside."
