Ministers and MKs criticized the way legislation was administered and the advocacy of the legal revolution

Member of Knesset Yuli Edelstein criticized today (Monday) in the Likud faction meeting that the coalition announced that it would not stop the legislation of the legal revolution "for one moment", as he put it, and claimed that by doing so "we are trying to help the other side".

According to Edelstein, "this is the best excuse for the other side."

He added that it is "easiest to hide behind the fact that they (the opposition) are all left-wing".

Edelstein, who is not in a hurry to express public support for the legal reform in its current form, wondered "Does the direction we are going guarantee that this will be a reform that will last for years?"

and expressed hope that a discussion would be held in the Likud faction before the vote in the second and third readings.

During the debate, Culture Minister Miki Zohar criticized the conduct of the Likud and the government in promoting the reform.

"They beat us because they fight as a team, they are organized, they fight on the field. And what do we do? We flow with the events."

Zohar warned that this way "we will lose the leadership", as he put it.

According to him, "not because the reform is not good, but because we let them win. We open our legs, so that they pass the ball between their legs and score straight into the goal. We do nothing to win again."

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asked to respond to Zohar and said in the closed debate: "There is no chance that this government will fall apart. It is just like an iron wall. I agree with the need to respond on the issue of explanation, but no one should doubt the continued cohesion of this government."

Netanyahu later added that among the protesters against the legal revolution there is "a hard nucleus that wants to degenerate into anarchy in the hope of overthrowing the government and holding six elections. The fact that they want it does not mean they will achieve it."

Knesset member Eliyahu Rabivo attacked the country's president Yitzhak Herzog and said: "With all due respect to the president, the exercise he did for us is a stinking exercise with a honey trap. We don't need him and if he has something to say - let him come and face it again. We fell into the trap that the president prepared for us." .

Later, Knesset member Danny Danon asked Netanyahu to "announce that the conflict of interest agreement you signed is null and void, and to immediately start working on finding a solution to the crisis we are in."

Danon said that "we Knesset members will give you full backing".

Minister of Transportation Miri Regev said that "we must not blink and we must continue with the reform as it is, continue with the legislation as it is" and Knesset member Boaz Bismut suggested "acting and speaking as one bloc", and criticized the protest claiming that "I have never seen a popular protest but so rich".
