How much dirt do you think is in your carpets?

Whatever you answered, double it.

by a lot

The mother of four was horrified (what is horrified? She is still shocked) when she discovered the insane amount of dust that had accumulated in her carpets, even though she vacuums them regularly.

The woman, who has a website and blog called 'Oh So Busy Mum' used a very large and very powerful vacuum cleaner, and although she had only vacuumed the carpets with her Dyson two days before, so they should have been pretty clean, the huge vacuum managed to remove Crazy about dirt from her carpets.

In the amazing photos that you uploaded to the web, the huge tank of the vacuum cleaner can be seen filled with unimaginable amounts of dust and dirt.

She wrote that "I just finished vacuuming the whole house and look at the amount of dust, dirt and hair it removed! The other vacuum cleaners I used did not even come close to this amount."

She added and detailed that 5 girls with long hair live in the house,

According to her, she vacuums regularly and with a fairly high frequency: "I vacuum the central areas of the house once every two days, and the bedrooms once a week. My previous vacuum cleaner never removed such quantities."

Previous studies have found that house dust contains 45 different types of chemicals, some of which have been linked to various health problems in the past.

The dozens of chemicals found in the dust were divided into five categories of ingredients - phthalates (chemicals that can be found in PVC floors, plastic food packaging, bathroom curtains, etc.), flame retardants, phenol (which is available, among other things, in disinfectants and medicines), chemicals with fluorine, as well as substances that emit odors.

These chemicals have previously been mentioned in studies as somehow associated with health risks such as hormonal problems, fertility problems, cancer and developmental problems in babies.

The researchers also warned that children are at a higher risk of exposure to chemicals from the dust, since they crawl and play on the floor and put their hands in their mouths frequently.
