Sharaf Eldin Hameisi, a 21-year-old resident of Salem, was seriously injured this morning (Monday) in a car explosion near the Megiddo junction in the Jezreel Valley.

Medical officials who arrived at the scene evacuated him to the Emek Hospital in Afula.

The police are investigating whether it is an attack.

Following the explosion of the vehicle, the police blocked road 65 in both directions, which was later opened to traffic.



Aladdin was transferred to neurosurgical intensive care.

At the hospital: "I hope he will be fine. A friend from the village saw my son's car and he called my other son and told him. My son was on his way home."

Regarding the suspicion that this was an attack, the father said: "I have five children, I have no words regarding the suspicion of an attack. The doctors say that he is injured in his arms and legs and the severe injury is in his eyes."



"It's very difficult. We heard about it from people who passed by and recognized his vehicle and then himself," said Lavala!

Dr. Hani Bachus, director of trauma and emergency medicine at Rambam, said: "He is ventilated and anesthetized. He will continue to be treated in the neurosurgery department.
