From Monday March 20 to Sunday March 26, the Banque de France is organizing free economic, budgetary and financial education workshops throughout the territory, on the occasion of Global Money Week, an initiative led by the OECD in more
than
100 country.
In France, the 11th edition of the national week of financial education is entitled "Plan your money, sow your future!".
The purpose of this event for the Banque de France is to help “
the youngest and most vulnerable populations to acquire the basics useful for managing their budget and their personal or professional finances, explains
its governor François Villeroy de Galhau.

To reach young people precisely, experts from the Central Bank and its partners will run awareness-raising workshops directly in colleges and high schools

On Friday March 26, the final of the Generation €uro competition will take place, which will see teams of talented French high school students compete in an oral on the theme of monetary policy before a jury chaired by the Banque de France.
Training for adults in many social action centers, houses and neighborhood associations, are also on the program for this week of financial education as well as workshops geared towards corporate financial management.
