The squad that traveled to Costa Rica for the friendlies was made up of the following players: 1 Nicolás Sarmiento (Betis Futsal), 12 Nicolás Kravetzky (Barracas Central), 2 Andrés Geraghty (Osasuna Magna), 3 Ángel Claudino (Valdepeñas FS), 4 Lucas Bolo Alemany (Córdoba FS), 5 Juan Pablo Cuello (Boca Juniors), 6 Sebastián Corso (Santa Coloma Industries), 7 Leandro Altamirano (Noia Futsal), 8 Dylan Vargas (San Lorenzo), 9 Matías Rosa (Jaén FS), 10 Constantino Vaporaki (Catania FS), 11 Gerardo Menzeguez (Jaén FS), 13 Alan De Candia (Barracas Central) and 14 Agustín Raggiati (Noia Futsal).

The team traveled to the Central American country on February 27 and returned on March 8.

The matches against the local team were played at the BN Arena stadium in the Sports City of Hatillo (on Saturday the 4th) and at the Scotiabank Arena stadium, in the Sports Complex of the Costa Rican Football Federation (on Monday the 6th).

Before these two matches in San Rafael, Argentina and Costa Rica met four times, the last time in the 2016 World Cup in Colombia: there they met in the third match of the group stage, with a draw, a result that allowed Argentina finish as Group leader and the “Ticos” rank third.
