Eichenried

– Is the Vampirette de luxe a man-devouring erotic machine or just there to suck up the many dusty things in the run-down male household?

Is Melli the same as Melissa?

Who gets the court?

What secret does the postwoman carry with her?

And where is the ticket with the lottery win?

The Moser brothers, fed up with their monotony and looking for a bride, are plagued by questions.

The three men promptly get tangled up in the tangles that they have laid out themselves.

Whether love will find its way into “Men’s Economy”, as Fritz Klein’s play is called, is not to be revealed at this point.

Only this much: With the three-act play, the Volksbühne Eichenried brought an enjoyable farce to the stage in the Stangl inn.

The premiere on Friday was accompanied by lots of laughter, intermittent applause and great applause at the end of the piece.

The cheerful guests were also visibly happy about the evening at the theater in a convivial atmosphere.

Such a man economy!

The brothers Alfred (Hubert Scheckenhofer), Martin (Max Baum) and adoptive brother Freddy (Christof Stangl) have made themselves at home between full laundry baskets, worn-out local newspapers, rubber boots lying around and an arsenal of empty beer bottles.

While everything is in top condition in the barn, chaos reigns in the house.

An ordering female hand is supposed to clear up the mess.

"I'll sacrifice myself and get married," Freddy, the little baby who has posted a personal ad, promptly announces.

His older brother Alfred would rather send him to a home economics school to perfect Freddy's cooking skills and because he himself intends to head for marriage, just like brother Martin, who doesn't feel that darn age yet "when the love is a drudgery “.

It's just stupid that the three gentlemen didn't short-circuit each other, but secretively hide their intentions to mate from each other.

When various women suddenly appear on the farm, misunderstandings are programmed.

The efficient vacuum cleaner saleswoman Melissa (Renate Bichlmeier) is chased away from the property as a "curb swallow", and the lovely Melli (Lisa Stadler) has to decide between two brothers whose comb is swelling and who suddenly mutate into rival fighting cocks.

The patent Evelyn (Laura Stadler) has to do a lot of relationship work to catch her Martin and ensure that every pot ultimately finds its lid.

The fact that the resolute postwoman (Manuela Baum) has long been guarding a family secret that connects her with the Mosers causes further family turbulence.

It is therefore not just a matter of tidying up the living room, but also of untangling a thoroughly tangled tangle of relationships.

The team of actors staged the three-act play with a great deal of enthusiasm.

Directed by Veronika Wenzel and Sabrina Kamrad.

This time, theater director Daniela Krause worked as a woman behind the scenes, supported by a prudent team of helpers.
