If you have recently purchased raw fish from the Grand Frais brand, it is best to check its reference.
Indeed, yellowfin tuna has just been withdrawn from sale because it has a histamine level higher than the regulatory rate, warns the Rappel Conso site.
Two batches are concerned: C30620041 and C30610082.
They were marketed on March 3 and 4 in the Grand Frais, BioFrais and Mon Marché stores, and the use-by dates ranged from March 7 to 8.
Histamine is normally present in small amounts in all fish.
But with its high histamine content, this yellowfin tuna can lead to histamine poisoning.

is manifested by allergic-type reactions triggered when histamine is absorbed in high quantities
,” says Rappel Conso.
The platform thus recommends to “no
longer use the product
” and to bring it back to the point of sale before Thursday, March 23 to obtain a refund.
