There is increasing concern in the security system about the explosive device that exploded yesterday on Route 65, in an incident suspected of being an attack in which a 21-year-old man from Salem was seriously injured, and which was reminiscent of the side bombs against the security forces in Lebanon.

In recent times, there have been several attacks and attempts to carry out attacks with the help of explosives, in which the increase in the level of sophistication of the terrorists stands out.

Last week, residents of Beitar Illit were ordered to lock themselves in their homes for fear of a terrorist infiltrating the city, after an explosive device was found in a bag left on a bus on Ben Zakai Street in the city.

An inquiry with the forces in the field revealed that a terrorist boarded the bus on route 226 between Jerusalem and Beit Illit, from one of the last stops in Jerusalem.

When he reached the main street of the city, he got off the bus.

A few seconds later, the charges began to catch fire, it is not clear whether on purpose or by mistake.

The damage caused to a vehicle that was hit by a side load in the north.

A long time passed until it became clear that it was cargo.

During this time, the terrorist had the opportunity to board one of the buses in the other direction, which pass with a particularly high frequency.

Alarms were activated in the city, and many forces were rushed to the scene, including Dovdevan and the multi-dimensional unit.

Mayor Meir Rubinstein addressed the residents of the city and asked them to stay in their homes.

"Enter the houses and lock the doors. Those who hang around outside disturb the security forces," he said.
