Diablo IV (Blizzard)
While the Activision-Blizzard-King acquisition is in the process of approvals by the various regulators around the world, many players thought that they would start to see more games from these companies on Microsoft's Game Pass service.
It turns out that this is not the case, at least not with Diablo 4, and this is what Rod Ferguson, who is currently in charge of the game's development and acts as Blizzard's brand manager, says.
"It's great to see the excitement surrounding the Diablo 4 beta. We've been asked if the game will be coming to Game Pass and I want to let you know that we don't plan on doing that. I'll be meeting you at Sanctuary (the kingdom of humans in the games) at the upcoming beta this weekend coming and will start on March 17," concluded Ferguson.
If the regulators approve the purchase, Microsoft plans to add new titles to its subscription service. Currently, most of the talk is done around Activision's Call of Duty series, and around Blizzard games there has been mostly silence and they have remained on the mark a question.
Those who pre-ordered Diablo 4 will receive early access during the coming weekend and will be able to experience the beta from Friday to Sunday, March 17-19.
Players will be able to level up to level 25, and this won't be the game's only beta until it's released this June.
Blizzard has not yet clarified whether players will save their progress between the first beta and the second.
