Defense Minister Yoav Galant, Chief of Staff Hartzi Halevi and Shin Bet Chief Ronan Bar held today (Tuesday) situation assessments following the cargo attack on Route 65, most of the details of which are censored.
The various security officials presented Minister Galant with preliminary findings from the investigation of the events, and the Minister of Defense instructed to "continue efforts to secure the daily routine of Israeli citizens."
The security establishment is afraid of the explosive device that exploded yesterday on Route 65, in an incident suspected of being an attack in which a 21-year-old man from Salem was seriously injured, and which was reminiscent of the side bombs against the security forces in Lebanon.
