A policeman with a heart of gold: saved a dog - and adopted it (police spokesmen)
A policeman rescued a dog that was thrown into a dumpster in Pardes Hana, where its previous owners had thrown it on the grounds that it was sick and "there is nothing to be done with it".
As part of the Day of Good Deeds starting today (Tuesday), the policeman decided to adopt the dog.
The incident began two days ago, when a man in his 50s was seen throwing the dog into a bin in Pardes Hana.
When asked about his actions, he replied: "The dog is sick, there is nothing to be done with it, it is going to die."
The incident was reported to the police center and transferred to the Zichron Ya'akov police, who arrived at the scene and managed to locate the dog.
The policeman decided to adopt the dog he saved.

Later, a veterinary inspector of the Hadera area arrived at the scene to take responsibility for the dog.
At the same time, the police located the suspected owner, a resident of the place, and he was arrested for questioning.
Later, as mentioned, one of the police officers decided to adopt the dog.
