Finland in search of French people in search of happiness

The tourist office of the country "the happiest in the world" invites ten people to a stay of initiation to Finnish happiness, in the middle of lakes and pine forests. Can you rise to the challenge?


To unlock the secrets of the happiest people in the world, nothing better than staying with them.

As part of its “Find the Finn in you” operation, the Finnish tourist office (Visit Finland) is inviting ten people from all over the world to take part in a Finnish-style initiation to happiness seminar.

It will be held from June 12 to 15, 2023, at a time when the midnight sun never sets in the Nordic countries.

The stay will take place at the Kuru Resort, in the Great Lakes region, in the south-east of the country.

This adults-only resort is made up of 20 luxury chalets surrounded by the tranquility of pine forests.

The lucky ones will stay there for free, while a night for two people with breakfast is normally offered from €269.

All travel expenses as well as transport costs to and from Finland will also be covered by the tourist office.

A four-day retreat in the rhythm of nature

The Kuru Resort has 20 villas in the middle of pine forests.

On site, participants will immerse themselves in the Finnish way of life in the company of expert coaches in their field.

You will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with artisanal techniques linked to nature, to discover suggestions for a healthy diet for the body as well as for the mind, to initiate yourself to exercises designed to be practiced in the forest and by the lakes

How to register ?

To try your luck, alone or in pairs, you must register before April 2 on the visitfinland.com site.

First step: fill out a form mentioning your Instagram or TikTok account (having an account on one of these social networks is a prerequisite).

Once this form has been validated, you will be invited to complete challenges on these platforms by April 2.

The jury will assess “

the creativity, authenticity and involvement that will be expressed in the content

”.

The names of the ten selected winners will be announced on May 2 on Visit Finland's social media channels.
