Iranian girls dancing in Tehran (tiktok)
A group of Iranian girls who were recorded dancing in Tehran without a hijab were arrested and forced to give a forced confession - this is what opposition officials said.
The website Radio Farda, citing a Twitter account named @shahrak_ekbatan, reported that the five were initially summoned and given a warning by the police and later summoned again and shaken for two days - before being forced to give a forced confession.
In the published photo, the same five girls are allegedly seen covered in hijab, with their heads down.
Shortly after the video, which was filmed in the town of Akbatan west of Tehran and published on Women's Day, gained momentum on social networks, the security forces were looking for the girls who danced to a song by Selena Gomez alongside the Nigerian singer.
