The panel of experts gives an insight into the district office: ten major measures from the road maintenance program determine the future work of the planners.

District

- "We won't get bored," assured Andreas Kamper, head of the civil engineering office in the district office.

Ten measures to keep the district roads in good condition and "pristine", as district administrator Helmut Petz put it, have been planned this year - ten measures that Petz, Kämper and Florian Plajer, head of the high and Civil engineering, presented on Tuesday.

Many millions of euros

Many millions of euros will again flow into ceiling construction and finishing this year.

According to Kämper, the projects would logically necessitate road closures and bypasses, although this would usually be completed in two to four weeks for the measures to build the ceiling, but it would take weeks and months for expansions.

And something else was important: For all four expansion measures that will be tackled this year, the funding has been approved (around 50 percent each), according to Kämper.

The thickest chunk

The largest "chunk" costing six million euros is the expansion of the district road FS 12 through Goldach: Work will continue until the end of 2023 over a distance of two kilometers from the intersection with the FS 11 (Freisinger Straße) to the district border.

The crossing to FS 11 will be converted into a roundabout, the sidewalks will be renewed and widened, and the road and drainage will be renewed.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

Between May 15th and August 31st, the FS 13 between the state road St 2350 and Oberhummel (Langenbach municipality) will be expanded for 1.4 million euros.

The entire road surface and the surface layer of the footpath and cycle path will be renewed over a length of around one kilometer.

The FS 24 in the area of the Kranzberg through road will also be expanded this year – for around 2.3 million euros.

The measure, which will last until the end of 2023, will start in June, when the municipality's canal and water pipe work is completed.

On the two kilometers between the junction of Hohenbachernstraße and the Amperbrücke, the sidewalks will be renewed and improved in two sections, each with full closure, and the street will be completely renovated.

Through Tegernbach

The fourth expansion measure in 2023 will be the FS 38 through Tegernbach West.

It starts there on May 2nd, and the work is scheduled to last until August 18th and will cost around 700,000 euros.

For this purpose, the road and sidewalk will be renewed over a length of 360 meters between the place-name sign in the direction of Rudelzhausen and Ludwig-Gieser-Strasse – under full closure.

According to Kämper, only local traffic is partially possible.

And then there are the six ceiling construction measures that will be carried out in 2023:

  • FS 6 between Fahrenzhausen and Jarzt from May 15th to 26th (cost: 120,000 euros)

  • FS 13 between Langenbach and the roundabout near Haag between April 3rd and 23rd (cost: 215,000 euros)

  • FS 16 between Attenkirchen and FS 27 from April 24 to May 5 (costs 180,000 euros)

  • FS 25 between Nandlstadt and Hausmehring from March 27 to April 14 (costs 265,000 euros)

  • FS 28 between Schlag and Schweinersdorf from April 17th to 30th (cost: 120,000 euros)

  • FS 39 between the B 301 and Haarbach from April 11 to 28 (cost: 420,000 euros).
