The attack at the Megiddo junction: all the details about the serious security affair (Walla system!)
New details were released today (Wednesday) about the car bomb attack on Route 65 in the Jezreel Valley, which happened on Monday, most of the details of which have so far been blacked out.
According to the details, after the explosive detonation, the security forces located the terrorist in a vehicle near the settlement of Adamit, and he was shot dead.
According to estimates, he crossed from the border of Lebanon to Israel on the night of Saturday or Sunday, but it is not yet clear how he got to the Megiddo junction.
Also, it has not yet been clarified whether Hezbollah is involved in the incident.
A day before the attack, on Sunday, the security system was alerted to an intrusion from Lebanese territory, but the terrorist who crossed was not located at that time.
It is possible that he managed to penetrate through the village of Aramsha, where there is no border fence.

The next day, the attack occurred at the Megiddo junction, in which an Israeli citizen was injured.
As far as is known, the terrorist then stopped a vehicle that drove him north.
At the same time, the security forces blocked roads in the north to stop him, until finally he was located on the way up to the settlement of Adamit.
IDF and IDF fighters shot him to death.
The Arab-Israeli driver who drove him was arrested for questioning.
An explosive belt and another weapon were found in the vehicle.
It was also reported that the terrorist, who was sitting next to the driver, posed a danger and was therefore shot.
The IDF said that he intended to carry out another attack.
The identity of the terrorist has not yet been determined. Also, no other person is known to be involved in the attack. The investigation continues as to how he was able to enter Israel, whether through the tunnels or not, and how he was able to travel a long distance to the Megiddo junction.
