Attackers on the left also blame the outline and claim that it worsens the situation

President Yitzhak Herzog presented the new outline this evening (Wednesday), which he calls "the people's outline" for the legal revolution.

According to the outline proposed by Herzog, the committee for appointing judges will include 11 members, and will select judges by a majority of seven.

The committee consisted of three ministers, the president of the Supreme Court, two judges, three Knesset members (one from the coalition and two from the opposition) and two public representatives.

On the issue of basic law legislation, it was decided that the legislation will be accepted in four readings in the Knesset plenum, the first three with a majority of 61, and the fourth with a majority of 80 MKs. The Likud party has not yet responded to the president's outline, only

stating that "the words attributed to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the president's outline - are not Also, Prime Minister Yossi Fox responded to the outline and wrote on Twitter that "for the avoidance of doubt, the president's outline is a unilateral outline of the president and not an outline agreed upon in any way by any party in the coalition."

Minister Yoav Kish said in response to the outline that "any attempt to reach an agreement is appropriate, but for weeks when the representatives of the coalition held negotiations with the president, the representatives of the opposition refused to hold any litigation. The outline presented by the president did refer to issues in the reform, but unfortunately it includes key clauses that only perpetuate the existing situation and do not We create the minimum necessary balance between the authorities."

On the other hand, many parties and entities expressed their support for the president's outline this evening.

The chairman of the Histadrut, Arnon Bar-David, and the chairman of the presidency of the business sector, Dobi Amitai, both said that they "express full support for the president's outline", and added that they are "calling tonight on all party leaders and all members of the Israeli Knesset to come together as one behind the president's initiative Stop the social and economic chaos tonight and restore hope to all of us."

Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett also expressed his support for the outline.

"I call on the government and the opposition to adopt the president's outline, and to prevent a fratricidal war," Bennett wrote on his Twitter account, "even for me as a member of the right-wing camp who has been talking about legal reform for many years, this outline is not the fulfillment of all my dreams, but at this moment I understand that danger is hovering over the sky of Israel A real fraternal war, and the most important thing is to reach broad agreements."

Oded Ravibi, head of the Efrat Local Council and leader of the letter from the heads of the local government, also expressed a similar opinion.

"The proposed outline is not what I dreamed of, probably not many of the right-wing voters either. In the same way, the opponents of the reform are also not satisfied with the compromises. It is precisely because of this that it is in the best interest of the country that we will adopt the outline, we will say yes to it."
