The court in Acre today (Thursday) allowed the publication of the name of Zerbail Zorik Aivazov, a 43-year-old resident of Kiryat Motzkin, who is suspected of raping a policewoman about three years ago.
Suspicions against him were raised when he came to testify about his ex-partner, a soldier who allegedly committed suicide, then one of the female police officers at the station identified him as the one who she claimed had raped her about three years ago when she worked for him in the business of selling flowers in restaurants.
The soldier's family, through attorney Tami Ullman, who represents her, demands an investigation into the circumstances of her death.

Judge Ziad Saleh extended Ayazov's detention by four more days.
In the meantime, the investigation has branched out and there are additional complaints against him, including those who support the police officer's version.
"Every day several girls come," researcher Noran Said explained to the judge.
"Each one who came brought another complainer."
Lawyers Yoni Dadon and Limor Malach-Dadon, who represent the suspect, denied what was attributed to him, and claimed: "This is how a case is sewn up."
According to the lawyers, the suspect has not yet been questioned since he was arrested last Wednesday.
The judge did not accept the arguments of the defense attorneys, and determined that the suspicions had grown stronger.
The judge also said that according to the testimonies of some of the complainants, who worked at Aivazov's business, "he used the method of giving intoxicating drinks and then 'messed around' with the same girls."
The Israel Police is asking for the public's help in locating additional complainants.
Anyone who knows about additional cases is asked to call the Acre police at 04-9876744 or the 100 hotline at all police stations throughout the country.
