Nicolas Sarkozy is part of a logic of continuity of a policy that had proven itself and had capacity margins allowing not to depend on imports, therefore on gas and its price.

François Hollande has decided, without an impact study, to close 14 reactors before 2025 and to reduce the share of nuclear power in our already carbon-free electricity mix from 75 to 50%.
