The Secretary of Energy,
Flavia Royón
, instructed this Wednesday the National Electricity Regulatory Entity (ENRE) to criminally denounce the entire
board of directors of the Edesur company
for "
embezzlement and fraud
to the detriment of the public administration" and
"abandonment of people"
in the face of the crisis due to power cuts.
Thus,
Walter Martello
, head of the ENRE, will be the one who appears this Thursday in Justice.
But it was not the only provision of Royón that he transmitted to the regulatory entity.
As
Clarín
learned , the secretary also demanded that the ENRE submit the report on the status of the provision to the Bicameral Commission for Monitoring Public Service Concessions of
Congress
so that
it "advises whether it is appropriate to terminate" the privatization
of the electrical service in hands of Edesur, of the Italian group Enel.
Royón's request to the Martello area coincides with the proclamation that the massista official has been warning about the need to remove the service from the company, which rushed before the escalation of power cuts in the City of Buenos Aires and the Buenos Aires suburbs in Full record heat wave.
"It became clear that
it was not a temperature problem
, the temperature dropped and they did not solve the cuts," Martello said in statements this Wednesday to Radio El Destape.
In addition, he once again requested the participation of "other government bodies" and remarked: "Intervene and Edesur would be a decision that the Executive Power has to make."
Martello himself, as ENRE leader, had announced on Tuesday that he would present a technical report to the National Congress to evaluate the possibility of terminating the contract with the company Edesur.
