The heads of the opposition parties are carrying a joint statement in Tel Aviv this evening (Thursday) in preparation for the continuation of the fight against the legal revolution.
In the statement, they referred to the "people's blueprint" presented yesterday by the country's president Yitzhak Herzog.
Opposition leader Yair Lapid said of the outline: "We accept the outline because in a civil war there will only be losers. The government told him he can go to hell."
The opposition leaders participating in the statement are Yesh Atid Chairman Yair Lapid, State Camp Chairman Benny Gantz, Yisrael Beitenu Chairman Avigdor Lieberman, Ra'am Chairman Mansor Abbas and Labor Chairman Merav Michaeli.
The new chairman of the Israel Defense Forces, Ayman Odeh, was not invited to participate in the statement.
"The plan is a fair compromise that allows for a shared life."

"The outline that the president presented yesterday is not perfect, it is not what we wanted, but it is a fair compromise that enables a shared life," said Lapid at the beginning of his remarks.
He blamed the government for rejecting the outline in a short time: "They didn't even bother to study it. In their own way, they told the president that he too can go to hell, along with everyone who wants Israel to remain a democratic state."
He later said that they "accept the president's outline because in a civil war there will only be losers."
