The man who had sent
threats through videos with weapons
to the residents of the Empalme neighborhood, in Rosario, was arrested this Saturday as part of a police operation.
This is
Uriel Enrique
, identified after sending intimidating messages to the inhabitants of the area after they demolished drug traffickers' houses in the outbreak that caused the crime of Máximo Jerez, the minor murdered in the city of Santa Fe days ago.
The arrest was carried out by the Special Organized Crime Investigation Unit of the Ministry of Security.
The suspect was arrested at an address at 1400 Cavia Street.
The alleged drug trafficker was tracked down by the authorities after an intimidating video was released that he sent to the residents of the neighborhood where police officers arrested the suspect in the murder of the 12-year-old boy in the last week.
After said arrest, those who lived in nearby houses approached the home to express their anger.
When the entire family was taken in patrol cars to the police station, they set their home on fire and began looting both their belongings and that of other men accused of being drug traffickers in the area.
Uriel Enrique was arrested in Rosario.
Consequently, several men began sending threats against them.
And in one of those videos Uriel Enrique is seen wearing a white mask to hide his identity and a weapon.
With the charger in hand, he intimidated while loading a revolver: "Listen to the sleeve of giles, they are going to have to return the things that they took from inside the houses because otherwise we are going to leave a dead person every day. Everything that was inside the houses... did you listen to the sleeve of giles? If not, all these bullets go to you, guacho. You better return the things because we are going to lead them all, giles, "he said.
The fact went viral after the threatened themselves spread it.
As a neighbor, he denounced the fact in an interview that he gave to the media behind his back to hide his identity.
"Audios reach us and they make videos. Two or three videos that reach us are already going around. We are more unprotected here than several of those who are detained. The Police take more care of the drug traffickers than of us," I said.
And he added: "Yesterday, a father broken by the death of his son received three or four rubber bullets by the police. They stop the tranceros and release them after a few hours. We are very exposed," he said.
In a conversation with LN+, the neighbor repeated that in the audios, the threats are "so they don't talk anymore" and said that "those who do not return the things taken from the bunkers will have bullets."
The threats were so serious that Máximo Jerez's family had to escape from their home despite the presence of police officers from the province of Santa Fe in the neighborhood.
The boy's own aunt confirmed that "el Salteño", who was arrested by the Police after the lynching of the neighbors, had threatened them this Monday afternoon at the hospital where the three boys who were injured after the shooting on Sunday are hospitalized. .
