Polish pilot
Luke Czepiela
made history by landing a plane on the small helipad of Dubai's most luxurious hotel.
He was the first to get it.
Czepiela parked the ship at the iconic 7-star Burj Al Arab hotel heliport, which is
27 meters in diameter
, has no landing reference and is located
212 meters high
(56 floors).
It is worth clarifying that the "normal" length of a runway is about 2000 meters.
It took the specialist two years to prepare for the feat
.
The plane with which he achieved his goal was modified for the test: they left it at 425 kilograms and installed the fuel tank in the rear to make braking more aggressive.

Luke practiced for a long time on a normal runway that he circled to simulate the helipad.
He landed over and over until he held her hand to the diameter.
Before achieving the feat,
the pilot failed twice
.
Once he came in faster than he should have and another time he entered the platform too lopsided, forcing him to keep going and soar.
When he finally landed on the heliport, Luke said: “The dart is in the bull's-eye”, acknowledging that he made “
history
”.
When he finished, the Pole did stunts with the vehicle over the sky over the United Arab Emirates.
Czepiela is Polish and performs stunts on airplanes.
