Today, they are between 30 and 45 years old and are of childbearing age themselves.
They live at the time of DNA tests and the right to access origins for children born by assisted reproduction.
And their need for truth comes to light.
A new generation of adopted children in search of their origins are questioning the secrets surrounding international adoption and are beginning to demand accountability.
Since 2021, around thirty of them have come together in the Raif association (Network of internationally adopted children in France) to join forces and help each other in their search for origins (RDO).
The association has already been approached by several hundred adoptees born in India, Chile, Guatemala and even Korea.
