Finally, this Tuesday Cristina Kirchner will receive the support of former heads of state and government of Spain and Latin America and will be the main speaker.
At the CCK, the Vice President will close the meeting "Popular will and democracy: From the military party to the judicial party, threats to democracy" in which former presidents
Evo Morales
of Bolivia will participate;
Rafael Correa, from Ecuador;
Ernesto Samper
, from Colombia;
and the former president of the Spanish government
José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero
together with the former judge
Baltasar Garzón
.
The activity is part of the
III World Forum on Human Rights
, which will be inaugurated by Alberto Fernández this Monday.
The President, who was a strong promoter of the Puebla Group, was not announced among the attendees.
"Alberto inaugurates the Forum on Monday, then I don't know what he will do," they explained in the President's environment.
Foreign Minister
Santiago Cafiero
will lead a panel the same Tuesday, when the Vice President will speak.
According to the organizers, the activity seeks to "denounce the lawfare (legal war) against the former President of the Argentine Nation and give her transversal support."
Among the speakers who will be part of the event in support of the former President are Spanish legislators, the Brazilian lawyer from the Latin American Council of Justice and Democracy (CLAJUD), Gisele Ribocom;
the president of the Instituto Patria and senator Oscar Parrilli;
and the coordinator of the Puebla Group Marco Enríquez-Ominami.
Deputy Eduardo Valdés, a friend of the Fernández family and president of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Lower House, will also be present.
During the meeting, Objective: Cristina will be presented.
The lawfare against democracy in Argentina edited by the School of Global Studies (ELAG), the Puebla Group, the Latin American Council for Justice and Democracy, (CLAJUD), and which brings together articles by jurists close to CFK such as Eugenio Zaffaroni.
Unlike the act that had been imagined in December, so far it is not expected that a stage will be set up outside the CCK for the former president to speak to the militancy.
The order for mayors, trade unionists and social organizations to mobilize their bases has not yet been lowered.
It is not ruled out either.
