This phrase, originally conveyed by the sellers of industrial cereals, does not actually make much sense!
It has its place but is not the most important in terms of quantity: it is estimated at around 20% of daily intake.
If no study shows that it is essential, it plays a role on the physiological, psychological and lifestyle levels.
It serves as a landmark, marks the start of the day;
people often eat the same thing, they are attached to its ritual side.
