After less than two hours, the post from the Central Franconia police had already received almost 500 likes.
"Oh god, how cute.
Maybe the dog would like to get in with you?!
I keep my fingers crossed that the owner will be found soon," a woman commented on the post and immediately received feedback from the police: "It's quite possible.
At least he has already successfully completed his 'taster internship'!"

The owners have now been located, as the officials explain in the comments.
