Adele immigrated to Israel thinking she was marrying the man of her dreams, but after the wedding, her husband's true nature was revealed. 32-year-old Adele Ginzburg arrived at the hospital two weeks ago in serious condition after her husband forced her, threaded a noose around her neck, poured gasoline on her and set her on fire.

Now, she suffers from burns on her upper body, but her condition has improved.

Like many who are in a violent and dangerous relationship, Adele didn't feel it at first either.

She met her husband through Facebook - she was looking for a spiritual guy and he worked with children with special needs.

The two soon fell in love, Adele immigrated to Israel from Russia and soon after they got married and had two children together.

However, over time, Adele said, things began to change.

Her husband stopped the educational work, says Adele, and, as she described, her external environment began to change.

At that time, Adele asked her husband for a divorce, but he did not agree and refused to grant her a divorce.

Probably even then, no one could have imagined that at the end of the story she would be running down the building's stairwell going up in flames.

She went from door to door calling for help until she burst into an open door, two floors below her apartment.

"I was in the room and suddenly I hear 'save, save,' I come out and see a woman lying in the middle of my house completely on fire," recalled the neighbor who was caught up in the situation, "it was a horrifying sight - even then she said, 'it was my ex-husband who did it'."

The neighbor, who knows the family, says that even after the divorce, the ex-partner continued to come to Adele's house to visit the children.

She let her ex-partner see the children whenever he asked.

People around her say that Adele let her ex-husband see the children whenever he asked, and sometimes even canceled social gatherings so that he could see his children.

At some point, according to insiders, the divorced man asked Adele to return to her, but she refused.

There, perhaps, the biggest warning light came on.

According to Adele's surroundings, the divorcee started following her.

From there the deterioration was very short.

On the first day of last March, when the children were at school, the divorced man entered Adele's house and apparently tried to force her and hang her. That didn't work - he poured gasoline on her and set her on fire.

In the following minutes, the suspect ran away, drove about a kilometer from Megilla towards Rachel's grave and got stuck in a wall, when he was killed on the spot.. Adele was taken to the hospital in serious condition while she was sedated and ventilated, and the police started investigating the incident.

When the children returned from school, it was not their mother waiting for them, but welfare officials.

First the children were taken to the welfare institution in the city, and then to a temporary foster family.

Eshel, who at first did not agree to have her name published, went back on her decision and decided to stand bravely to prevent the next case.
