Beyond the musical and artistic appeal that it means in each of its editions, the Lollapalooza Festival generates the mobilization of thousands of people, which affects above all the area of the
San Isidro racetrack
.
In order to arrive, move and park, the organization arranged an operation that includes public transport, parking spaces and recommendations to arrive and leave in the most organized way possible.
For example, for those who go by
public transport,
they should know that one option is to get off at the San Isidro station of the Miter train (Ramal Tigre).
By an agreement with Trenes Argentinos and the Ministry of Transport, there will be
night services to Belgrano C (the trains do not reach Retiro due to works)
, with one or more intermediate stops.
The additional formations would begin to circulate after the end of the festival.
As the schedule is subject to change, it is advised to pay attention to the updates through
the official social networks of Lollapalooza Argentina.
At the same time, the services of the bus lines
near the Hippodrome and its surroundings
will be reinforced .
They are 60, 203, 333, 343, 365, 371, 338 and 707.
For those who attend with their private vehicles, a joint operation will be carried out with the traffic agents arranged by the municipality of San Isidro, so that they order circulation at the main crossroads.
There will also be
control for illegal parking
and double parking, in order to avoid delays at the main accesses.
The racetrack will open its doors at 11:30
and will have three pedestrian accesses.
They will be at the corner of Santa Fe and Márquez;
by Márquez at 900, at the Paddock entrance of the Hippodrome;
and by Márquez at the height of the Official entrance of the Hippodrome.
The enabled parking lots will be Santa Fe and Avenida De Unidad Nacional;
and Marquez and Fleming.
The organization reported that
its capacity is already exhausted.
Both parking lots have entrances for people with disabilities.
And within the space of
Santa Fe and Av. de Unidad Nacional
there will be free parking for
bicycles
(each spectator must bring their own chain to hold their bicycle).
Eat and drink
Inside the property there will be more than
70 stands and food trucks.
This year's novelty will be a 50-meter-long McDonald's store that has 3 kitchens -equivalent to the operation of 3 stores- and 14 product withdrawal positions.
It will be attended by 320 employees.
Some of the best-known companies that will be at the racetrack will be Carne, the hamburger restaurant run by multi-award-winning chef Mauro Colagreco, Burger 54 and the Kentucky and Sbarro pizzerias.
There will also be
Peruvian and Mexican cuisine
and options for vegetarians and vegans that even have an exclusive sector, Espíritu Verde.
The only means of payment enabled inside the racetrack is
LollaCashless,
a system that allows you to load your wristband to buy food and drinks.
They recommend charging credit to the bracelet through the LollaCashless website before going to the property to avoid lines.
There will also be points set up within the racetrack to load the bracelet with cash, credit and debit cards.
