In Argentina, where taxi drivers from Buenos Aires, Mendoza and Mar del Plata already offer rides through the app, the number of trips made by taxis through the Uber app has
tripled over the last three months.
In order to consolidate the growth in the number of taxi drivers registered to drive with the app, Uber is offering two special promotions until March 31.
The first one is that
taxi drivers who register and start driving can get up to an additional $100,000 when they complete their first 50 trips before the end of the promotion.
On the other hand,
taxi drivers who are already registered will be able to receive up to an additional $50,000 for each new taxi driver they invite to the platform and who completes 50 trips before the end of the promotion.

We want to continue adding taxi drivers throughout the month of March and we are convinced that with this special promotion we can show how the Uber app can be a complement to earnings for taxi drivers throughout the country”.
